Math classes move too fast. If you don't get something, the class isn't going to wait for you. Math textbooks are poorly written, and all those exercises don't foster much understanding. So—it's easy to fall behind and feel like you aren't good at math.
One-on-one attention makes all the difference. A knowledgeable guide can harness a student's unique strengths, address a student's unique needs, and customize lessons to ensure he or she really gets it.
This is where I come in. I have over a decade of experience tutoring students at every level. I've worked with gifted students, students with significant learning challenges, and with plenty of students who thought they just weren't strong in math. Read some of their testimonials here.
